Reopening Family Questionnaire

Greetings Seaford BlueJays,
The Seaford School District is prepared to educate our students with the same high standard we all expect, whether that is done in our physical buildings, or at home through distance learning. BlueJays take care of one another!
For the coming school year each student will be loaned a district owned Chromebook to use for on-line instruction. Students will be held accountable for active engagement during on-line instruction days. Student attendance will also be taken during the on-line sessions. Our district teaching staff will also engage in professional development to ensure they are ready to deliver this type of instruction to our students.
We are launching a questionnaire that is asking which option you prefer for your child(ren). We believe that our students learn best when they can be engaged in the classroom through in-person instruction. However, we know that we must have options available for safety considerations.
Communicate your honest thoughts by participating in our questionnaire located at this link: as soon as possible and no later than Friday, August 7th.
These questionnaires are very important for the district. The data obtained from the questionnaires will help us determine bus routes as well as class assignments. Families will decide for how their child will be educated for the first marking period.
We want you to have a voice in this process. We ask each of you to please take the family survey for each of your individual students on the reopening of schools.
